Timothy O’Hara has been hired as co-head of BlackRock Global Credit Division. He will operate alongside Jim Keenan who has moved from his role as Head of Fundamental Credit. They will be based in New York, reporting to Mark McCombe.

Ian Tabberer has been appointed Investment Director on the Henderson emerging market equities team. His role will include interacting with clients, advisors and internal teams.  He moves from Henderson Global Equities after that team was restructured in 2016.

State Street Global Advisors has named Heinz Volquarts as their first Head of SPDR ETF business development in Mexico and Latin America. He has been tasked to serve customers in those regions more effectively, with an eye on growing their institutional ETF business.

Harry Harper has been appointed Head of Buy-in / Buy-out Services at JLT Employee Benefits. He moves from Mercer where he was Head of Buy-out/ Derisking. His role will be the development of JLT’s specialist Buy-in / Buy-out service to new and existing customers.

Citadel has named Sebastian Barrack as Head of the Commodities Investment Unit, based in Chicago. He will start at Citadel in July and replaces Mark Stainton who became Citadel’s Head of the Global Equities unit. Mr Barrack is currently Executive Director and Global co-Head of Mining, Metals and Agriculture at Macquarie Group.

Christian Berchem has been appointed Chief Executive of UK Private Banking Business at Credit Suisse. He will start in June, when he takes over from Philip Harris. Berchem moves from his role at Barclays as Head of Private Bank for London.

Indosuez Wealth Management has announced the addition of NRI specialist, Prad Goswami as a Senior Director. He commences immediately and leaves his postion with Union Bancaire Privee in Singapore. Mr. Goswami will report to NRI team head, Shailendra Kirtikar.

BNP Paribas has revealed changes to the top structure of the Wealth Management division, Asia Pacific. Pierre Vrielinck becomes Chief Executive Officer taking over from Mignonne Cheng. Cheng will continue as Chairman.

Swiss Life Group has announced a number of senior management changes as part of a new sub-brand to Swiss Life Global Solutions, created to stress cross-border solutions. These changes include Thomas Henze becoming new Head of Global Private Wealth where he succeeds Beat Reichen.

Quentin Andre, Global Head of Equity Solutions at CitiGroup, has added global responsibility for equities structuring for investor clients to his portfolio of responsibility.

Steve Ashley has been made sole Head of Wholesale and Global Markets at Nomura. He previously shared the role with Kentaro Okuda, who has moved to become Nomura, Regional Head of Americas.

ADS Securities has named Adam Clayton Head of Investment Banking, where he will report to chief executive Philippe Ghanem.

Ivan Hrazdira has been appointed global sponsor of US dollar debt capital markets (DCM).

Mark Tucker has been announced successor to Douglas Flint as Group Chairman at HSBC. He will assume the role from 1 October 2017. Mr. Tucker currently serves as Group Chief Executive and President of AIA Group Limited.

Paul Dell’ Isola, a recognized leader in capital market transactions has joined Stifel, as a senior member of their Investment Banking team. He moves from FBR & Co, where he was Co-Head of Capital Markets.

Vikesh Kotecha, previously head of Barclays Asia equity business, will move to UBS in Hong Kong, to head up their Asia-Pacific Equity Derivatives unit. Kotecha succeeds Michel Lee, and will report to Taichi Takahashi and Dushyant Chadha.

Evercore Partners has promoted Keith Magnus as co-Chairman of Asia, joining Steve CuUnjieng in that role. This change is effective immediately, and is intended to reinforce Evercore’s Asian businesses.

Francesco Samson has been appointed Group Chief Operating Officer by Quaero Capital. Commencing 1 April, Samson moves from his position as Head and COO of Geneva office at Brevan Howard in Switzerland. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of Brevan Howard Investment Products Limited (Jersey).
