Peter Bain President, CEO and Director of OM Asset Management, is resigning effective end of June.


Hedge Funds

Ross Campbell has been named Director of Responsible Investing at Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. The position, which is new, encompasses all strategies and funds managed by the firm. Mr. Campbell leaves SRI Research Group where he was President.


IBD / Capital Markets

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, has hired four managing directors including David Bain as Head of Technology and Services M&A.  Scott Peterson from BMO Capital Markets will run Software, and Per-Arne “PA” Weiner becomes MD of Financial Technology Coverage. Terry Tillman becomes  Managing Director in Software Equity Research.


Tom King joins the board of Leerink Partners LLC. King recently retired from Barclays shortly after the appointment of CEO Jes Staley.


Joseph Sidibe  has joined Citigroup as a Senior Salesperson on the Equities Electronic Execution Team. Phoebe Nockolds  joins as an Execution Advisory Services Specialist in the same team. Rupert Dransfield has also been appointed as a Sales Trader on the Electronic Trading Desk.


Private Banking / Wealth Management

A Morgan Stanley team of advisers, Brandt Haring and Joe Smart who generated $2 million in annual revenue has moved to RBC.
