Asset Management

Invesco has appointed Neil Blundell as Global Head of Client Solutions Development and Emily Pachuta as Chief Marketing Officer for the Americas. They both join from BlackRock.


Nick Samouilhan has moved from Aviva Investors to join T Rowe Price as a Solutions Strategist while Michel van Mazijk joins T Rowe’s Relationship Management team in the Netherlands. He moves from Pioneer Investment.


HFT Investment Management has appointed Ren Zhiqiang as CEO, replacing Patrick Liu who moved to Neuberger Berman as head of China. Mr Zhiqiang was previously Chairman of Fortune SG Fund Management.


Charles Prideaux has been named as the replacement for John McLaughlin,  as Schroders’ Head of Solutions, when McLaughlin retires from the industry in December. Prideaux left BlackRock in 2016, where he had held a number of senior roles.


John Adu has joined JP Morgan Asset Management as UK head of ETF Distribution, and Tom Stephens has moved from Société Générale to be head of ETF international capital markets.


Michel Meert has been appointed Global Head of HSBC Global Asset Management’s Client Solutions and Consultant Relations. Meert’s responsibilities will include aligning the regional consultant relations team with sales and client Strategy teams globally. He will report to Brian Heyworth, Global Head of Client Strategy and be based in London.


Unigestion has hired Paul Osborne, previously of PineBridge Investments, as a Director of UK institutional clients and Claire Harding, previously of Lombard Odier as co-Head of Consultant Relations in their London office.


Banking

UOB has recruited Christopher Wee from Standard Chartered to help lead their digital product development in Singapore, focusing on trade product development and digital partnerships for group wholesale banking.


IBD / Capital Markets

Nomura’s Global Head of Global Market Structuring, John Goff is also taking on the roles of Head of Global Finance for Asia ex-Japan and Acting Head of DCM Asia ex-Japan. This change happens immediately.


Maurits Duynstee, the Head of Dutch Wholesale Banking at ING, has been hired to lead Deutsche Bank’s corporate finance team in the Benelux region.


Daniel Pinto, JP Morgan’s Investment Bank Chief Executive will hand leadership of their EMEA operations to focus on global strategy and technological innovation.


Vis Raghavan, JPMorgan’s deputy CEO of EMEA operations has been appointed CEO chief executive of their EMEA business, where he will report to Daniel Pinto and to Mary Erdoes.


Thomas Ragot has been promoted to MD in Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank’s Power & Utilities team. He has 15 years’ project finance, acquisition finance and debt advisory experience.


Private Banking / Wealth Management

Thomas Melohn a Morgan Stanley advisor who generated $1.5 million in annual revenue and managed $200 million in client assets, is moving to UBS, bringing Junior Partner, Lauren Ma, and Client Service Associate Lisa Frisch, with him. Joseph Caselle, of Merrill Lynch, generated about $1 million in annual revenue and oversaw $250 million in client assets, also moves to UBS, his partner Ryan Baker with him.


Bank of America has named Katy Knox President of its Private Bank, U.S. Trust, where she succeeds Keith Banks who has led U.S. Trust since 2009.

Banks will stay in the position of Head of the Chief Investment Office and Investment Solutions Groups.


Barclays has hired Jean-Christophe Gerard as Head of Investments in the Private Bank and Overseas Services. He moves from HSBC where he worked for more the 20 years.


Private Equity / Direct Investment

Hamilton Lane has appointed Nick Kavanagh as Vice President of their Co-Investment and Secondary Teams in their London office.
