Asset Management

Pru Bennett, Head of BlackRock’s Asia Pacific Investment Stewardship team, will step down in January as the asset manager plans to double the team in the next three years from its current 30, of whom a third are Asia based.


J.P. Morgan has named James Santi as Executive Director and Acquisitions Officer for Australia and New Zealand in its Asia-Pacific real estate team (Asia).


APG has appointed Kim Liu as Senior Portfolio Manager Treasuries and Inflation-Linked Bonds. Liu moved from ABN Amro where he was Senior Fixed Income Strategist.


Capital Group has appointed Sigrid Rosemeyer as MD for Institutional Sales in Germany.


Neptune Investment Management’s Latin America Fund Manager. Tom Smith will take over its India fund following Kunal Desai’s departure. Smith was also  promoted to co-Head of Emerging Markets.


Hedge Funds

Man GLG, has appointed Marvin Caze and Graham Stafford as Portfolio Managers. Caze will be based in New York and focuses on Energy, while Stafford will be based in London, focusing on Healthcare.


Insurance

Allianz Malaysia Chief Investment Officer, Esther Ong Chen Woon has resigned to pursue other career opportunities after eight years with the firm.


Private Banking / Wealth Management

Belvoir Capital has hired Stefan Calefice as new Head of Private Banking and Beyzade Han, who joins as new Chief Operating Officer.


Sellside – Sales; Trading; Structuring; Research

David Lynne, Deutsche Bank AG’s, Asia Pacific Chief for Fixed-Income and Currencies, will also become Head of Global Transaction Banking.


Citi Bank has named Fabio Lisanti as new Head of its Swiss and Liechtenstein Capital Markets business.
