ABN Amro has appointed Christian Nolting and Nicolay Kuhnle as Directors in its Global Transportation & Logistics Asia-Pacific team (Asia).


SEB has appointed Ben Powell, to Head of Climate & Sustainable Finance business in Norway. He was previously Head of Funding for the International Finance Corporate, the private sector arm of the World Bank.


Insurance

Chubb Ltd. has named Brad Watson and Barton Porter as Energy Industry Practice Leaders for their mid- and large-market business lines, respectively.


Axa has appointed Myriam Moufakkir as Chief Operating Officer of Asian Markets.


Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. will reorganize and expand operations of Axis Re, and has made a series of appointments to start the process. At the same time Richard Milner, President and Chief Underwriting Officer of Axis Re, APAC and London; Peter Martin, Chief Pricing Actuary, Axis Re; and Stefan Habereder, Head of Portfolio Analytics and Strategic Services, Axis Re, will leave. The new leadership team includes, Jon Colello as President of North America; and Peter Kiernan will continue as President of Bermuda; Rob Smart, who was Head of International Reinsurance Accident and Health, has been appointed interim President of the newly created Global Markets division, which will house Axis Re Strategic Partners, the newly formed Specialty Re, and international business through the Lloyd’s platform. Jan Ekberg will continue as President of EMEA based in Zurich. Megan Thomas, recently named Chief Underwriting Officer, will lead the newly created reinsurance products team in New York, while Rob Looney, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, will lead reinsurance services in New York Victoria Westerberg continues as Head of Human Resources in Zurich.


McLarens has appointed Stuart Crofton as Head of its Property Loss Adjusting division in Australia. At the same time, Tom Murphy, formerly of Cunningham Lindsey, joins their Brisbane property team as Senior Adjuster and Arjun Masters, previously of FAS Global, joins as Financial Lines Executive Adjuster.
