Standard Life Aberdeen has hired Nick Schoenmaker as a Senior Investment Specialist for equity and multi-asset in Australia. Schoenmaker previously worked for AMP Capital.

Julia Kozlowska has joined JP Morgan Asset Management as a Client Adviser in the global liquidity sales team for EMEA. Most recently, she was head of market development, key strategic accounts at Refinitiv.

CalSTRS has promoted Geraldine Jimenez to Director of Investment Strategy and Risk. She will lead the new investment strategy and risk branch of the company, overseeing the implementation and monitoring of the pension fund’s overall portfolio strategy and risk profile. Previously, she was a portfolio manager of the firm’s investment engagement unit.

Ignacio Estevas-Guilmain has joined the Madrid team of A&G Private Banking. Before A&G, Estevas-Guilmain stayed for over a decade at Pictet where he held various positions from agent to private banking director.

IBD / Capital Markets

Goldman Sachs has appointed Luke Woodard as an Executive Director for energy, oil & gas and utilities. We will oversee corporate finance and investment banking advisory for the Energy sector in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Before Goldman Sachs, Woodard worked as a vice president at Evercore.

Jonathan Roth has joined The DAK Group as a Vice President for Investment Banking. Roth will oversee deal execution of sell and buy side transactions. Previously, Roth worked at a leading digital advertising and marketing agency as executive director of corporate development.

Insurance

Sompo Holdings has named Pui Phusangmook Chief Executive Officer for Singapore. Prior to joining Sompo, Phusangmook served as executive vice president, general manager, general insurance and group business of NTUC Income.

Guangjie Hopton has joined Aon’s intellectual property solutions team in China and Asia. Hopton used to hold the role of assistant general counsel for international corporate at Alibaba.

Sedgwick has appointed Wayne Cheng as General Manager and Chief Operations Officer for Asia. He is responsible for the firm’s business and growth strategy and driving operational efficiency.
