Daily People Moves – August 20


BNY Mellon Investment Management has named Eric Yu as a Vice President, Institutional Distribution in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Yu was an executive director, sales and client service at Bosera Asset Management.

Ex-Goldman Sachs Nicholas Hall has joined New York-based hedge fund Tenaron Capital Management as a Portfolio Manager in London. Before joining Tenaron, Hall was a vice president European swaps at Goldman Sachs.

Daniel Imhof has been appointed Deputy Global Head of Investment Management at Credit Suisse. He also assumed the role of Head of Global Platinum Solutions and Client Services, responsible for portfolio management and international UHNW clients. Imhof most recently served as head of global sales at Schroders.

Scott Chivers has been named Sales Director to IFAs at Fundsmith. Before moving to Fundsmith, Chivers was a business development manager at Franklin Templeton Investments.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Claude Haberer has been appointed Chairman of Private Wealth Management, Asia. Tee Fong-Seng has joined the firm as the new CEO of PWM Asia.

Kelvin Teo has joined Bank of Singapore as Head of Bespoke Investments for Greater China and North Asia. Teo was a former director of equity capital markets for Credit Suisse.


Valerie Jalon has been appointed as a Managing Director on the Institutional Equity Sales team of Guggenheim Securities. Jalon joins from Barclays where she was a director in the equities distribution team in Chicago.

Veteran bond trader Brian Hannon has joined Cantor Fitzgerald’s bond desk. Before this, he spent the last six years at Delaware Investments, a member of Macquarie Group that specializes in equity and fixed income sales and trading.


Richard Olsen has joined AIG as Chief Actuary of General Insurance. Olsen most recently served as CFO for US P&C reinsurance at Munich Re.

Devin Beresheim has been appointed as Executive Vice President of Specialty Practices business of Lockton Financial Services. Beresheim joins from Marsh where he led the practice responsible for providing strategic advice to clients related to directors and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), cyber/privacy, transactional risk, and related insurance products and solutions.

Now Health International Group has named Michel Faucher as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer in the Middle East and Africa. Before joining Now Health, Faucher was employee health & benefits growth markets regional business leader at Mercer.

Geoff Lambert has been appointed as Head of Compliance at Gresham House. Lambert previously led the compliance team at Nikko Asset Management Europe.
