Neil Woodford has announced the closure of Woodford Investment Management. According to Woodford, the company would fulfil fund management responsibilities to Woodford Patient Capital and the LF Woodford Income Focus Fund before closing in an organized manner.

St├ęphane Corsaletti is stepping down from his Chief Executive role at ABN Amro Investment Solutions and will assume a non-executive position. Corsaletti had been CEO of the ABN Amro subsidiary since January 2016, having been instrumental in developing its multi-management and fund selection efforts over this period.

Groupama Asset Management’s Chief Executive Officer Philippe Setbon is leaving the firm after more than six years. Setbon is moving to Ostrum Asset Management for a senior post.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Escala Partners has hired Tracey McNaughton as its new Chief Investment Officer. McNaughton most recently served as head of asset allocation at Wilsons.

Credit Suisse has appointed Raffael Gasser Head of International Private Clients. Gasser is the current Head of Luxembourg and Northern Europe.


Morgan Stanley has recruited Ana Cendoya-Delcroix from Deutsche Bank. She is set to join the U.S. bank in October as Head of Fixed Income for France. Cendoya-Delcroix spent almost fifteen years at Deutsche Bank, most recently as head of rates.

IBD / Capital Markets

CBRE Group named three senior executives to its global capital markets business. Greg Hyland joined as Managing Director, Capital markets, Asia-Pacific; Chris Brett was appointed Managing Director, Capital Markets, Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Kevin Aussef was named Global Chief Operating Officer, Capital Markets.


Steve Gibbs has been appointed Head of Claims for general insurance at AIG. Gibbs joins from AXA XL, where he served as international P&C claims practice leader.
