Reed Walters has left his role as Head of Global and International Equities at Nuveen. David Lund has been added to the international growth fund, joining Joseph O’Flaherty; Lund will remain as sole manager of the emerging markets equity fund. The firm has also named Tom Franks as Head of Active Global Equities portfolio management.

Ilga Haubelt has been appointed Head of Equity Opportunities at Newton Investment Management. She will lead Newton’s active equity strategies, excluding income funds.

PGIM Investments has hired Ray Ahn as Global Chief Marketing Officer. Before PGIM, Ahn led Capital Group/American Funds’ international marketing function, as well as product marketing teams in the US. Additionally, Indy Reddy has joined the firm as Global Chief Technology and Operations Officer. Reddy joins from Citi Private Bank & Personal Wealth Management.

Vicky Yick has been appointed as Managing Director, Asia intermediary business at American Century Investments. Prior to American Century, Yick led the private banking distribution business of Value Partners.

Dan Costinescu has joined Melanion Capital as a Portfolio Manager for its new systematic macro fund.

Steven Chung has been appointed as Managing Director, Portfolio Manager at Evercore Wealth Management. Chung most recently served as lead portfolio manager for all tax-exempt municipal bond strategies at State Street Global Advisors.

Insurance

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has hired Olivier Antiphon has been appointed Head of Construction, while Anne-Sophie Bonifay has been named Head of Casualty. Antiphon was a former construction & engineering underwriting manager at XL Insurance. Meanwhile, Bonifay worked as a casualty underwriting manager, middle market, at XL Insurance.

Beazley has announced the appointment of Matthew Westhoff as Head of US large commercial property. Previously, Westhoff was a vice president at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
