Nick Granger has joined PIMCO as a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, Quantitative Analytics effective first quarter of 2020. Prior to PIMCO, Granger was chief investment officer of Man AHL, and a member of the Man Group Executive Committee.

Matthieu Rolin has been appointed Co-Manager of the Thematics Safety fund at Thematics Asset Management, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers. Rolin previously worked as a fund manager for a range of US equity and Global equity funds at Aviva Investors France.

Dan Lee has joined GQG Partners as Director for UK and Ireland Business Development. Lee most recently served as UK sales head for Neptune Investment Management.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

John Connolly has been appointed Chairman of the Board at Stonehage Fleming. He currently chairs the FTSE 100 company G4S, and was chairman of Amec Foster Wheeler, also a FTSE 100, before it merged with Wood Group. He also serves as executive chairman of Cogital Group. Connolly was chairman of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity until earlier this year and is a council member of the CBI.

Bergos Berenberg has hired Ulrich Gnos, a senior private banker who is well connected to Zurich’s wealthy and charitable circles. Before that, he spent 7 years as a senior client adviser at Pictet.

Insurance

Generali Global Health has named Chris Campbell its new Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Generali, Campbell was a senior sales director at Aetna International in Hong Kong.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) has announced the appointment of Hyeji Kang as Global Head of Reinsurance and Catastrophe Risk Management. Kang is currently Head of Actuarial Function at AGCS, based in Munich, and before that, has worked as Chief Actuary for the AGCS North America region.

Chubb has appointed Simon Priebbenow as Head of Claims for Australia and New Zealand.
