Group Head of Investments Matthew Beesley is leaving GAM Holding AG. As a result of his departure, his business management duties will be assumed by the respective heads of the two investment groups: Systematic & Solutions (includes Private Client), and Discretionary.

Alfred Mui of HSBC Global Asset Management will manage a newly-launched Asia-focused high yield bond. Mui, who runs a China-focused fund at present, will use a combined top-down macro assessment and bottom-up credit analysis.

Dean Bowden has been promoted to Managing Director of multi-asset business at Quilter Investors. In 2015, Bowden was appointed Old Mutual Global Investors’ (OMGI) proposition and commercial director, before becoming chief commercial officer at Quilter Investors upon its formation in 2018.

Jill Wright has joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s private equity in a bid to expand its expertise and operational efforts. Most recently, Wright worked at The Carlyle Group where she was a principal and head of portfolio operations for the Carlyle Equity Opportunity Funds.
