Head of Equities Bo Selling is leaving Swedish pension giant Alecta on May 25, after twelve years of service at the firm. Selling will not be replaced. Instead, Lidelott Ledin, head of equity management and Jesper Wilgodt, head of equity research, will report directly to head of investment management Hans Sterte.

Jason Bellamy has joined Asset Value Investors as a Senior Consultant in Japan. Based in Tokyo, Bellamy will focus on developing and sustaining strong relationships with the management of AVI’s investee companies including affiliated shareholders. He is also the President and Chief Executive of Bellamy Corporation. Bellamy has 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working for and engaging with global companies, government bodies, regulators and international investors including Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, First Trust Advisors and Aberdeen Standard Investments.

Daisy Cai has joined Softbank Vision Fund as a Partner. Most recently, Cai was a founding partner of Chinese growth-stage technological innovation fund Gaocheng Capital.

Vontobel Asset Management has appointed Freddie Solway as a Sales Director in UK, focusing on intermediary distributors, such as discretionary wealth managers, private banks, banks, asset managers and IFAs. Prior to joining Vontobel, Solway was a sales director in the UK wholesale team of BNY Mellon Investment Management.
