DWS Group has named J.J. Wilczewski as Head of Client Coverage for the Americas and Global Head of Institutional Clients and Consultants. Before that, he was head of institutional client group for the Americas.

Gilles Drukier has joined Neuberger Berman as Managing Director and Head of Insurance Solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Most recently, Drukier was a managing director for the fixed-income insurance and pensions solutions group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

Matthew Dobbs, Fund Manager for Asian Equities and Head of Global Small Companies, is retiring from Schroder Investment Management by end of 2021. Taking over the firm’s Asia funds is Richard Sennitt, who is the fund manager focused on Pacific equities and global small-cap stocks. He will be assisted by frontier markets specialist Abbas Barkhordar. Dobbs will transfer oversight of the global and international small-cap funds to three fund managers: Robert Kaynor, head of U.S. small- and SMID-cap equities; Luke Biermann, pan-European small-cap specialist; and Alex Deane, global small-cap and Asia specialist.

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management has appointed Shigeo Mito as a Director of Client Services and Global Business Development. He is responsible for expanding the firm’s European client base and developing new strategies for investors. Mito previously worked for one of the firm’s strategic partners as an equity investment specialist.

Navyug “Nav” Patel has been named Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the New York State Common Retirement Fund. Prior to this, he has served as interim deputy since July 2018. Patel joined the firm in 2015 as a senior investment officer on the opportunistic and absolute-return strategies team and was named director in 2017 before taking on the interim deputy CIO role.

Manuel Esteve has been appointed Head of Equity Capital Markets for EMEA at Barclays Investment Bank. Before joining Barclays, Esteve spent the last 18 years at JP Morgan where he held a number of Equity Capital Market (ECM) leadership roles in both origination and syndicate.
