Shusaku Watanabe was appointed as Head of Japan Real Estate at Nuveen Real Estate. Prior to this, he was a director of Asia Pacific capital markets at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Fixed Income Portfolio Manager Tom Musmanno has left BlackRock. He joined the firm in 1991, having originally joined Merrill Lynch Investment Management, prior to its merger with BlackRock in 2006. Bob Miller and Akiva Dickstein have replaced Musmanno on the $7.5bn BlackRock Low Duration Bond fund, joining existing manager Scott MacLellan. Separately, MacLellan has replaced Musmanno as sole manager on the $31.5m BlackRock Allocation Target Shares Series P fund, which Musmanno has had sole responsibility for since 2013.

Merus Global Investments named two new partners Brook Bennett and Faraz Noorani. Both Bennett and Noorani join from Aecor Capital Management, an investment management firm they co-founded in 2017.

Yasmine Djeddai has been named Societe Generale’s Head of Sustainable Finance for Asia Pacific. Djeddai first joined Societe Generale in Paris in 2005, focusing on risk management in its structured commodity finance group. In 2009, she joined the group to originate and execute agri-business and soft commodities financing in Latin America.


Alan Telford was appointed Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of DUAL, the underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group. Before that, he was CUO, Commercial at Liberty Specialty Markets.
