Johanna Lasker was named Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Asset Management US, effective January 1. She is currently head of official institutions.

Lynn Xing joined GAM’s emerging market equity team based in Hong Kong. Most recently, Xing was an investment manager, private equity group at Bank of China.

Natixis Investment Manager has appointed James Chen as General Manager of Natixis Taiwan. Chloe Tai and Sophia Huang have also been appointed as Associate Directors for the firm’s institutional investor business. Chen joined the firm in 2009 as a director while Tai joined the firm in November from TransGlobe Life Insurance where she served as investment manager. Huang joined Natixis IM Singapore in 2004 as institutional associate director.

Subhrajit Banerjee has joined Brevan Howard as a Fixed Income Strategist. Prior to this, Banerjee held a similar role at HSBC.

Wasil Mohar was named Client Strategy Director, U.K. institutional group at SEI. Before that, Wohar was a director at Willis Towers Watson focused on providing investment advice to institutional clients.

Ex-Artemis Tony van Gool has joined Time Investments’ distribution team. Van Gool previously held the post of sales director at Artemis.


Wilson He was named Managing Director at OCBC Securities. Most recently, He was regional head of online trading at CGS-CIMB Securities where he handled the retail broking business in Singapore.


AIG has promoted Lucy Fator to Global Head of Communications and Government Affairs, on top of her current role as EVP and General Counsel. Emily Garbaccio has also been promoted to Global Head of Corporate Communications, AIG, and Global Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, General Insurance.
