Margaret Chinwe Anadu was appointed Global Head of Sustainability and Impact at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Based in New York, she will oversee the strategy for delivering commercial solutions and advisory services to clients in relation to inclusive growth and climate transition. She will also co-chair the Asset Management Sustainability Council. Prior to this, Anadu has led Urban Investment Group, a domestic, multiasset investing and lending business.

Greg Wasserman and Sean Petersen joined Wellington Management’s private market sustainable investing team. Most recently, Wasserman managed tech and climate-related strategies at Generation Investment Management. Petersen, on the other hand, previously worked for AI Fund as a general partner.

Thornburg Investment Management appointed Steven Klopukh and Tim McCarthy to manage two small- and mid-cap (Smid) equity mutual funds. Before that, Klopukh served as a director and lead portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors’ US Smid team. McCarthy, who also worked at Allianz GI, spent 17 years at the firm as a senior portfolio manager and director, with research responsibilities for the US Smid growth team.

17Capital named Pauline Chatin as Investor Relations and Fundraising Director. Chatin joins from Lyxor Asset Management where she was responsible for selling financial solutions to French institutional accounts.


HSBC’s Oliver Kadhim, Head of Sales Trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is set to move to Hong Kong to become Co-Head of Asia Equity Execution together with James Grafton. Joelle Tarrant, Head of European Union Electronic Execution is moving to Paris to become Head of Equity Execution for continental Europe.
