Natixis Investment Managers named Tim Ryan as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 12. He replaces Jean Raby. Ryan most recently served as CEO of Generali Group’s asset and wealth management business.

Desiree Fixler, Group Sustainability Officer of DWS is leaving the firm this month. CEO Asoka Wöhrmann, will take charge of sustainability at a senior level. Fixler, who joined the firm in June last year, previously served as portfolio manager and impact investing director at Zais.

BNP Paribas Asset Management appointed Michael Herskovich as Global Head of Stewardship, effective May 1. Herskovich has been the firm’s global head of corporate governance since 2009, responsible for implementing its stewardship policy, including proxy voting, issuer engagement and corporate governance analysis.

Tim Percarpio was named Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at MidOcean Partners. Percarpio, who is joining from Contrarian Capital, will oversee MidOcean’s private equity and credit marketing activities. Meanwhile, Leslie Tanca has joined the firm as a Vice President. Prior to MidOcean, Tanca was a senior vice president at Pinnacle Trust Partners.

Bruce Hogg was named Head of Sustainable Energy Group at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Toronto. Before that, Hogg was previously the firm’s head of power and renewables.

Takaya Imai has been appointed Senior Advisor at Carlyle Japan. Before that, Imai served as executive secretary and chief executive assistant to former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. The firm also appointed the following existing managing directors to oversee investment activities across core sectors: Reiji Terasaka will lead the general industries group; Yusuke Watanabe will lead consumer, retail and healthcare; and Jumpei Ogura will lead technology, media and telecom.

Lincoln Yeh was appointed Co-Head of Private Equity business at Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited. Prior to SHK & Co, Yeh specialized in TMT investments at Tencent and Temasek.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Bruno Morel, Chief Executive Officer of VP Bank Singapore is stepping down from his role due to personal reasons. He joined the private bank in 2017 from CIC where he was head of private banking. Thomas Rupf, head of investment advisory and treasury for Asia, will assume the role on an interim basis.
