BlackRock appointed Jackie Krese as Managing Director and Head of U.S. Capital Markets. In this new role, she will oversee the efforts to expand and enhance client activities, ESG, fundraising and private sourcing within the U.S. capital markets group. Prior to joining BlackRock, Krese was managing director and group head of Americas debt capital markets solutions at Credit Suisse Group.

Terence Bong joined GAM Investments as Head of Singapore office. In this role, he will oversee business development and client relationships in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region. Bong previously served as Franklin Templeton’s head of wholesale for Southeast Asia.

UniSuper has named Peter Chun as CEO, effective September 6. Prior to this, Chun was group executive, member growth at Aware Super.

Michele Robitaille was named Head of Responsible Investing at Guardian Capital. Robitaille is currently a managing director and portfolio manager at the firm.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Credit Suisse appointed Alois Müller as Head of Private & Alternative Markets APAC in Hong Kong. Müller will maintain his current role as Head of Global Private Equity.

IBD / Capital Markets

BNP Paribas promoted Stephane Ritz to Head of Global Markets in Asia Pacific while Brian McCappin was appointed Global Markets Head of Institutional for Asia Pacific. Before that, Ritz held various senior trading and management roles in Hong Kong, Japan, Paris and London.

Insurance

Sompo International’s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive John Charman is retiring in April 2022. James Shea is taking on the roles of Executive Chair of the Sompo International Holdings board, CEO of overseas insurance and reinsurance business at Sompo Holdings, and Chief Executive of Sompo International Holdings.
