Natixis Investment Managers’ sustainable boutique Mirova has reshuffled the management team on its $92.1 million Mirova Global Sustainable Equity fund, and has hired Portfolio Manager Amber Fairbanks from Boston-based SRI specialist Zevin Asset Management. As a result Suzanne Senellart will no longer be a co-Portfolio Manager on the fund but will focus on developing the European environmental equity fund she has managed since 2013.


Schroders plc has appointed Amy Cho as CEO for Hong Kong, succeeding Chris Durack who is returning to Australia to head the company’s business there.


Thibaut Ferret has joined Aberdeen Standard Investment (ASI) as Senior Solutions Director for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He was previously Head of Asset-Liability Management for Sun Life Hong Kong and Regional Head of Investments for Axa Asia.


Aquila Capital has appointed Thomas Bargl as MD. He was most recently responsible for sales in Germany as Managing Director of SUSI Partners.


JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Camilla McKane as Head of UK platforms and Life Companies Sales team.


Asset Manager Lazard AM has hired Daniela Weissenborn as new Head of Wholesale.

Capital Strategies Partners has partnered with family office Jay18 to cover the Peruvian market, which will be run by Jorge Velarde who is in charge of marketing a series of mutual fund and alternative managers to Peruvian institutional and wealth clients on behalf of Capital

FundQuest Advisor has hired Camille Ferron as Sustainability Analyst. She joined from global ESG research provider Video Eiris.

Noble Group Ltd has appointed former Morgan Stanley senior banker, Ian Potter, as its next Chairman.


Insurance

Everest Insurance, has appointed four new members to the Everest Specialty Underwriters Private Company/Not-for-Profit group. These include Meredith Dyak, who joins from OneBeacon Insurance Group; Richard Ng joins as a Manager based in the company’s Chicago office, from Starr Companies; Connor Lyons joins as an Associate Underwriter in the New York office, and Calin Hynson has been appointed as an Associate Underwriter in the New York office after completing an internship with the company.


Hiscox has announced the appointments of three new individuals within Hiscox Re & ILS; Mike Schindel, has been appointed Head of North America, succeeding Ross Nottingham, who was promoted to Chair of North America in August. Nick Orton, has been promoted to Head of International, to focus on advancing product innovation to support smart growth in the International book. Daniel Vestergren joins from Ariel Re as Chair of International, with responsibility for driving the strategic direction of the International book, succeeding Andrew Dolphin, who was promoted to Chief Operating Officer last month.


QBE has made several senior roles redundant in Australia, including Peter Klemt’s role as GM of Business Development and Jason Hammond’s role as GM of Broker Distribution. The Australian insurer has created the following leadership team: John Fox, Chief Claims Officer; Jason Clarke will switch from GM Intermediary to Chief Customer Officer, Commercial Lines; Phil White, Chief Customer Officer, Credit Lines; Frank Costigan, Chief Customer Officer, Personal Lines; Bill Donovan, GM New Zealand; Chris Killourhy, Chief Financial Officer, Finance, Actuarial and Legal; Eleanor Debelle, Chief HR Officer; Renee Roberts, Chief Operating Officer; Fiona Hayes-St Clair, Interim Chief Risk Officer and Chief Strategy Officer; and Declan Moore, Chief Underwriting Officer. Aegon will reappoint Alex Wynaendts as its CEO for another four-year term.


Gallagher Bassett UK has appointed Gordon Vater as Business Development Director and a member of the executive board. He joins from RiiG Ltd and will be responsible for enhancing and delivering claims consultancy, insource and training capabilities to corporate and carrier markets.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Union Banciare Privée, has named prominent industry figure Alfred Tsai to be its Vice Chair for Asia. Tsai most recently headed the China market for BNP Paribas Wealth Management.


Mirabaud & Cie has appointed Robert Lussi as Head of its Basel branch. He was previously Head of the Notenstein La Roche office in Basel.


Intrinsic wealth network MD Stephen Fryett will leave the firm to “seek out new opportunities”.
