Asset Management

T. Rowe Price Group have added two regional heads, Lowell Yura and Yoram Lustig, in new potions in its multiasset solutions unit. Yura joins as Head of Multiasset Solutions for North America and Lustig becomes Head of Multiasset Solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

PineBridge Investments has named Lisa Wang as Head of Marketing and Communications for Asia. She takes responsibility for their marketing and communications strategies supporting the investment and business objectives in the region, as well as growing brand awareness with institutional and retail channels.

Inverco has elected two new vice-presidents at its AGM. Cirus Andreu, of Sabadell AM, becomes President of the IIC group and . José Carlos Vizarraga, CEO of Ibercaja Pension, is elected President of Inverco’s pension fund group.

Patrick Lutz, has been appointed new country head at Franklin Templeton Switzerland, with the task of developing their retail and institutional business through leading the local sales and marketing teams. Mr. Lutz will be Zurich based and will report to Senior Director, Central Europe, Reinhard Berben.


Robert Snell has been hired to run Standard Chartered ‘s global subsidiaries business, where he will leverage their network to support multinational clients’  international banking needs. He will start at the beginning of July and is based in London.

Hedge Funds

David Eisenberg has been named Principal and Consultant in Meketa Investment Group’s  office in Boston. He was previously Partner and Director of Client Consulting at Mercer.

Icahn Enterprises will support the private investment management company being set up by David Schechter, in an agreement that means he will no longer consult with Icahn Enterprises.

BlueMountain Capital Management has appointed Lance Rosen in a newly formed position as Head of Equities.

Despite laying the groundwork for a $20bn hedge fund, Steve Cohen continues to grow Point72 Asset Management, his ‘family office’  in London, with a recruitment push focused on analysts. New appointments include Ryan Fox of  Tudor Investment Corporation,  and Daniel Sepe from Exane (BNP Paribas).

Duncan Larraz, a quant analytics specialist, has been appointed as joined Brevan Howard at a time when the hedge fund has generally faced a reduction in headcount and poor performance. Larry moves from Tages Capital, where he was Head of Quant Analytics.

Peter Higgins has been named Partner and Portfolio Manager in Ares Management’s credit group where he will help drive growth of Ares’ European leverage finance product offerings with the European credit team.

IBD / Capital Markets

J.P. Morgan Chase has named Mike Hughes Head of Global Custody replacing Matthew Bax, who moved to Citigroup earlier in June.

Nicholas Brennan has been hired by Morgan Stanley as an Associate on their European fixed income syndicate desk. He previously held as similar role at  Societe Generale’s syndicate.

Private Banking / Wealth Management

Nicholas Brennan has been appointed Senior Wealth Management Advisor and Head of Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors’ newly opened New York office. Urs Weber, an Executive Director with VSWA since October 2016, will serve as Wealth Management Advisor. Franck Litzler is the most recent hire as Wealth Management Advisor, Associate Director.

Sellside – Sales; Trading; Structuring; Research

Crédit Agricole CIB has recently made two new senior hires, adding Alex Li as Head of US Rates Strategy and Italo Lombardi as a Latin American Economist and Strategist.

Scott Haslem UBS’ Australia and New Zealand Chief Economist will leave the firm to pursue alternative opportunities. No replacement has been named.
