Architas has hired Julie Lamirel and Richard Chiang, bolstering their investment team. Lamirel joins as Senior Investment Manager responsible for Architas’ multi-manager portfolios in Belgium. Chiang has taken been hired as a Quantitative Analyst, developing the fund and asset class quantitative screening process.
BlueMountain Capital Management has named Claudio Macchetto formerly Head of Global Platforms at Paulson & Co. as Head of Platform Distribution, responsible for marketing the BlueMountain’s diversified alternative investment strategies to wealth management channels and private banking platforms and for management of retail distribution relationships globally. This is a new position at the firm.

Matthew Panarese has been promoted to President of the Mid-Atlantic Region Wilmington Trust, overseeing wealth management services including regional sales, fiduciary, and client management teams in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. He has also been appointed Head of their Business Owners National Practice Group.
JP Morgan Private Bank (New York) has named Borja Astarloa as Head of Private Banking in Spain, responsible for management operations and driving business development strategy. He replaces Juan Soto, who resigned earlier in the year.

Carlyle Group has promoted Managing Directors Patrick McCarter and Campbell Dyer to co-lead their global technology, media and telecommunications team from the beginning of September.
KKR & Co have promoted Scott Nuttall and Joe Bae, to the newly formed roles of co-presidents and co-chief operating officers, responsible for day-to-day operations. They also join KKR’s board of directors. Co-founders, cousins Henry Kravis and George Roberts, remain co-CEOs and co-Chairmen.
