Yngve Slyngstad is leaving his role as CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management. He will remain at the firm to focus on investment strategy and will build up unlisted renewable energy infrastructure as a new investment area.

Cohen & Steers has promoted Jon Cheigh to Chief Investment Officer. Cheigh will retain his responsibilities as head of global real estate at the firm.

Daniel Filser and Jonni Glick have been appointed as Senior Associate and Analyst, respectively, at Deutsche Finance International. Filser was a former investment manager at Allianz Real Estate while Glick came from InfraRed Capital, where he focused on UK value-add investments across multiple asset classes.

Colin Teichholtz has joined Element Capital Management as Managing Director and Head of Markets. Prior to Element Capital, Teichholtz was head of fixed income at BlueMountain Capital Management.

Co-Head of China investment banking Hansong Zhu is retiring from his role at Goldman Sachs Group. Zhu, who has been with the firm for more than 19 years, also served as head of the industrial and natural resources group in Asia ex-Japan and general manager of its China securities joint venture Goldman Sachs Gao Hua.

Asia Co-Chairman and Senior Managing Director Keith Magnus has joined the global management committee of Evercore. Magnus was instrumental in expanding in Southeast Asia, tapping into booming deal activities, and advising on transactions totaling over S$40 billion in the past four years. These deals include private equity firm KKR’s S$500 million investment in lifestyle products group V3 and the sale of a majority stake in specialty chemicals distributor Tee Hai Chem to Brenntag.
