Rob Marshall was appointed Head of Stewardship and Sustainability at M&G. Prior to this, Marshall was head of global research equity and credit, a role he held since 2017.

Brunel Pension Partnership has named David Vickers as Chief Investment Officer, effective next year. Vickers is currently head of multi-asset for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Russell Investments.

State Street Global Advisors has promoted Lori Heinel to Global Chief Investment Officer, effective March 2021. Heinel joined the firm in 2014 as chief portfolio strategist and served as deputy global chief investment officer since 2016. Meanwhile, Richard Lacaille was appointed Senior Investment Advisor at State Street Corporation. In this role, he will provide company-wide leadership of the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) solutions, services and thought leadership across all of State Street’s businesses. Lacaille is presently chair of State Street’s executive corporate responsibility committee.

Karina Suarez was appointed Chief Actuary at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS). Suarez joins from AIG where she held multiple leadership roles, including head of reserving for Global specialty, the head of reserving for property and specialty for the UK and Europe, and chief finance actuary managing 14 countries in the LATAM and Caribbean regions. Christian Kortebein was also recently named as Chief Pricing Actuary. Kortebein joined Allianz in 2003, acting as deputy group chief actuary before joining Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Allianz France as chief actuary.
