Former Goldman Sachs Asset Management Michael Jalkut has taken up a new role at Citadel’s global fixed income fund in New York. Jalkut formerly served as a senior portfolio manager in the emerging markets debt group at GSAM. Derek Arnold, who worked at GSAM London, has also joined Citadel.
Co-founder of Atreaus Capital Michael Ridewood has joined Adrian Lee & Partners as a senior member of the portfolio management team. Atreaus Capital, a global macro hedge fund, has shut its doors in January.
BNY Mellon Investment Management strengthens its intermediary business in Asia ex-Japan with the hiring of Vivienne Lim and Billy Chung as Business Development Managers for Singapore and Hong Kong respectively. Lim previously worked as a vice president of business development for Legg Mason. Chung most recently served as an intermediary sales senior manager at Invesco.
Harvest Partners has named Dan Glickman a Partner to lead the firm’s capital markets efforts. Before moving to Harvest Partners, Glickman was a senior managing director and a founding partner of credit manager Antares Capital.
Jeremy Hippolite has joined Charles Stanley as Head of Asset Management Development and will be responsible to expand the firm’s asset management presence amongst professional intermediaries. Hippolite previously worked for Standard Life Wealth where he was head of international business development.

Edward Rossetti has joined JP Morgan as Head of ETF Trading. Rossetti formerly worked at Goldman Sachs as a vice president ETF trader.

Markus Wetter has been appointed Head of Capital Markets at UBS Switzerland. Wetter took over the post vacated by Thorsten Pauli who decided to join Bank of America.

HSBC Life Singapore has announced the appointment of three senior executives – Lee Kah Jing as Chief Product Officer, Gajan Yogaranandan as Chief Risk Officer, and Kapil Arora as Chief Financial Officer. The company has recently upgraded its business in Singapore by launching a new brand, the expansion of its product suite, and the widening of its distribution channel to include independent financial advisory (FA) firms. Before HSBC, Lee was head of product, actuarial at Sun Life Financial Indonesia. Yogaranandan joined HSBC Group in 2011 and most recently held the post of global market and credit risk manager. Arora joined HSBC Insurance in 2014 and was head of financial control prior the promotion.
James Ng has been appointed General Manager and Principal Officer of Munich Re Syndicate Labuan (MRSLab) in Kuala Lumpur. Ng joined Munich Re in December as deputy general manager. Before that, he was chief distribution officer at QBE Insurance in Singapore.
